Support De Soto Youth Football and Cheer

As 2022 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of the families that made this year such a success for the De Soto Youth Football and Cheer program. In 2018, we started the program with 33 flag football players. This year, our 5th year, we had 315 youth participate in the program! This success can’t happen without the commitment of the youth, their parents, all of the volunteers, officials, coaches, community partnerships, corporate sponsors, and the board of directors that put this program to such positive use every year.

The last couple of years have been a significant challenge in securing equipment and allocating funds for the increase in expenses for our program. We want to send a big thank you to this year’s corporate sponsors, as their generous donations allowed our program to offset the increase of those equipment prices, facility rentals, and insurance costs of our program. We were able to pass along that offset to all of the families that participated and not raise any of the enrollment prices from last year.

We hope that your family has experienced the invaluable benefit of being a part of the program. We really are such a success because of you. With such a large and successful program comes an insurmountable time commitment from all of us, but it also comes with a price.
